Take the toll road at the head of Rauris valley to drive into the heart of walking country. All routes are numbered and well signposted, with indications of the degree of difficulty and the time to complete the walk.

The toll for the road is covered by the Salzburgerland card, as is the gold panning centre by the river at the toll booth.
